Pirate music? Why bother any more?

Why anyone would bother pirating music to listen to on a home computer, or even a 3G/4G connected device(with a reasonable data plan) is purely a waste of time now-a-days.  Ever since I found sites like Jango.com and di.fm, there is zero need for anyone to consider downloading music illegally. With Jango.com (many say it’s like Pandora but since I’ve never use Pandora, and Jango works worldwide, whereas Pandora does not) I can listen to nearly anything I want.  Sure I’ll have to convert some local indie bands to MP3 but that’s neither hard nor surprising.

Now, if some company can break the Hollywood monopoly on movies, maybe we, as a species, can truly enjoy art(despite the crap that gets turned out from the studios mostly now).

Maybe if more people just made their own movies, even with the 99.999999% less budget, you’d get better attention than over-marketed crap/
